Base Camp Wires Keith Linton Final

.

With Jim Marino taking the lines, the 4-1 second choice left from Post 4 and used the same front end tactics as last week, clicking off quarters of :28.1, :58 and 1:26.2 before crossing under the wire in 1:56.1.

Favourite Wilfred Sands (David Hudon) finished one length behind while Garden Gate Ll (Gord Abbott) finished third.

Base Camp picked up his sixth victory tonight and lifted his bankroll to $30,802 for trainer Darren Howald and owner David Woolley of Langley, B.C.

Ridgeline followed his 1-5 co-favoured entry mate from the two-hole to place while Cash Account (Carl Sibiga) rounded out the top three finishers.

Just Plug It In is owned by the J J J Stables of Aldergrove, B.C. and Casandra Uppal of Blaine, Washington. His first win of 2010 was also his 19th lifetime and pushed his earnings to $288,586.
