Ocean Downs General Manager Bobbi Sample has announced the new 2021 Ocean Downs race schedule consisting of 44 race nights starting Sunday, June 6 and ending with the last race on Wednesday, Sept. 15.

“We are look forward to an exciting racing season in 2021. We would like to say a special “Thank you” to the CSOA and horsemen for all of their continued support and cooperation. Ocean Downs will continue to offer a fun, family friendly atmosphere for all of those living and visiting Ocean City and the surrounding communities as we have for more than 70 years.” said Sample.

The race schedule is a Sunday, Monday and Wednesday format with first-race post time set for 7:05 p.m. (EDT). There will be no racing on Sunday, July 4 in celebration of Independence Day.

The Maryland Racing Commission will be presented this schedule for final approval at its next monthly meeting scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 25.
