Taking a cue from late night television, horsepeople and media personalities at The Meadowlands faced the words of some of their harshest critics on social media.

The first "Meadowlands Mean Tweets" video — which borrows from the "Mean Tweets" segment that appears regularly on ABC late night show Jimmy Kimmel Live! – features members of the Meadowlands driver colony and the on-air broadcast team reading disparaging Tweets about them in a deadpan delivery ... and occasionally offering a wry retort. As one could surmise, the result is a great source of levity for participants and viewers alike.
