Sheswildnfree Strikes Again
Fresh off of her 1:55.2 triumph in the $53,500 final of the Harvest Series, Sheswildnfree found herself back in action and back in victory for trainer Ben Baillargeon and driver Sylvain Filion.
The three-year-old daughter of Muscle Mass-Fiery Manes returned to Woodbine Mohawk Park for a Thursday evening conditioned assignment, and she blew away the competition in authoritative fashion.
Filion got away second with Sheswildnfree, but he had her on the move as soon as the field entered the backstretch. Malcolm G cut the quarter in :28.4, but he then took a backseat to Sheswildnfree who proceeded to lead through middle panels of :59 and 1:28.2. She used a :28-second closing quarter to win by 6-1/4 lengths over Talahasse Seelster in 1:56.2. Spun From Magic rallied from far back to be third.
Bred and owned by Tom and Elizabeth Rankin, Sheswildnfree improved her 2020 record to 3-1-2 from 13 starts with the victory. The $8,500 payday lifted her lifetime earnings to $54,708.
