Six Straight For Literally Hanover
Three-year-old pacing filly Literally Hanover maintained her perfect raceway record at Western Fair District on Friday (December 11), winning for the sixth straight time.
With Daryl Thiessen in the bike once again, Literally Hanover ($2.90) moved from third to first during the third quarter and drew away from her filly and mare foes by 4-1/2 lengths to win the ninth race claiming-conditioned pace in 2:01. Runaway Heiress (Ross Battin) and Littlebearcat (Mike Horner) closed from the backfield to finish second and third, respectively.
The Bettors Delight filly is now six-for-six at The Raceway, giving her wins in one-quarter of her 24 career starts. Lindsey Kerr trains and shares ownership with Sally Charlton and Ashley Kerr.
Western Fair announced on Friday that its grandstand facility will be temporarily closed to the public, effective this Monday, Dec. 14, when Middlesex-London moves into the Red-Control zone of Ontario’s COVID-19 response framework. The facility will be closed until restrictions are lifted.
Live harness racing will continue with only essential workers permitted at the facility on race days.
