In the first of the trots, Gingras positioned the sophomore Kadabra filly Kombucha right behind pacesetter Alyvia Deo, then moved out to challenge on the turn and won by a length in 1:58.2 over the sloppy track for trainer Scott DiDomenico and the ownership of Bottom Line Racing LLC and Triple D Stables Inc.
The other trot feature winner was the three-year-old Cantab Hall gelding Hall It Off, who won by four lengths in 1:58 for his second consecutive score. Trainer Bill Mullin shares ownership with Carver Racing LLC.
Gingras’ pacing headline victories also saw one win from the front and one from the two-hole.
