Pacing Fillies Contest DSBF Splits
Two $20,000 first-round divisions of the final Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund series of 2020 for three-year-old pacing fillies kicked off the Wednesday (Dec. 2) action at Dover Downs.
In the first division, Foolish Wisdom and driver Corey Callahan sustained a first-over attack to defeat Harrington DSBF final winner Cinder Rock by two lengths in 1:57. Im Two Soxy finished third.
Trainer Dylan Davis co-owns Foolish Wisdom, a daughter of Gamblers Dream and Fleeting Flirt N, with local high school agriculture teacher Jeffrey Billings.
The second division saw Spinferno post a 1:55.3 win over Sweet Lil and Shes Got The Lynx while in line to leading driver Tim Tetrick. Chuck Crissman Jr. trains the No Spin Zone-Hurricane Jenna filly for Dale, Brendan and Allen Cook.
Three-year-old pacing colts and geldings wrap up the week's DSBF action on Thursday (Dec. 3). Post time is 4:30 p.m.
