Mario Berardinelli Passes

Trot Insider has learned that standardbred owner Mario Berardinelli of Mississauga, Ont. passed away suddenly on Friday, December 18 at the age of 56

.

Berardinelli was part of the Banner Yankee Stable, the Montana Racing Stable and Eagle Ridge Stables.

Visitation will be taking place Sunday, December 27 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Turner & Porter, Neweduk, Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. West, Mississauga, Ont., 905-828-8000.

A funeral service will be taking place Monday, December 28 at 3:00 p.m.

I am so sorry to hear about Mario's death as such a young man! Mario was a true gentleman. You would never hear a curse word out of his mouth. Mario introduced me to harness racing. I never miss a weekend now
