Racing Remains Suspended At Dayton
As the result of a positive COVID-19 test on an employee in its racetrack operations department, and acting out of an abundance of caution, Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway announced today that live harness racing will remain suspended.
All other operations at Hollywood Gaming remain open, including gaming and dining options as well as simulcast racing. Racing was slated to return on Monday (Nov. 16). However, out of an abundance of caution, Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway has suspended its live racing cards through at least Thursday, Nov. 26. Simulcast wagering and gaming operations remain open.

It's interesting that an Ohio track (Miami) was the first one in any state or province to reopen for racing last spring after the Coronivirus hiatus, and another Ohio track (Dayton) is the first one in any state or province to close due to Covid concerns.
