Western Fair Raceway has announced its holiday schedule, an addition to its racing calendar beginning in January, and that fans can get a free present on

Boxing Day.

Western Fair will be hosting live racing on Boxing Day, and is offering its race fans in attendance a Christmas gift in the form of an 'I love Canadian harness racing at Western Fair Raceway' t-shirt.

The first 500 race fans with a coupon will receive their shirts in the first-floor lobby starting at noon. First-race post time for the afternoon card is 1:15 p.m.

Kids will be kept busy that day with free face painting, balloons and magic from 12:30 to 3:30 in the first floor Annex.

A reminder to anyone wishing to dine at the London, Ont. track on Boxing Day that just a few tables are left for the brunch at the Top of the Fair ($25.95 per person). Call 519-438-7203 (Ext. 252 or email [email protected]).

Holiday Schedule

Please note that Western Fair is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Racing starts at 1:15 p.m. on Boxing Day and 3:35 p.m. on Monday, December 28 and Tuesday, December 29. New Year’s Eve will feature a 7:05 p.m. first-race post time.

Adding Thursdays

Starting the first week of January, Western Fair will be adding Thursdays to its weekly schedule. From January to April the track will conduct racing four days per week, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays with a 3:35 p.m. first-race post time and Fridays, which have a 7:05 p.m. start.
