Yonkers Raceway would like to remind everyone their 2009 racing season will come to an end on December 22

The 2010 live schedule begins Friday night, January 8 pending approval of the New York State Racing and Wagering Board. After the Saturday, January 9 program, the usual five-night-per-week live schedule returns the week of January 11. First post every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday is 7:10 p.m.

Horsemen are reminded that nominations for Yonkers' first 2010 stakes event - the Hopeful Pacing Series - close Friday, January 15. The series is open to three-year-olds (in 2010) of both genders who are non-winners of two races or $20,000 lifetime through this past December 1. The Hopeful begins February 19 (fillies) and 20 (colts and geldings).
