Princeton 360 Videos On HoofBid App
Princeton Farms secured Curtis MacDonald for video services in order to offer 360-degree videos of their yearling consignment on HoofBid this year.
Understanding the inability of some potential buyers to visit the farms in person, Princeton Farms have posted 360-degree and walking videos of their consignment being sold on HoofBid this Friday (Oct. 16).
For those wanting to inspect horses at Princeton Farms, there is still time to make appointments by going to the HoofBid website.
The Oct. 16 yearling sale line up can now be found in the app along with times the yearling will spend in the “virtual ring.”
The sale will begin at 10 a.m. EDT. Each auction lasts 60 minutes. A new horse enters the “virtual ring” every 15 minutes.
Bidder verification will be required. To ensure integrity, HoofBid has implemented new bidder verification protocols. To be verified, users must provide their USTA or Standardbred Canada membership number, address, and have a valid credit card on file prior to bidding in the sale.
All auctions are open-ended, which means that if a bid is placed within one minute of the closing time of the auction, the clock will automatically return to one minute remaining on the auction. The auction is over if no bids have been placed with one minute or less on the bid clock. This feature allows all bidders a fair chance to counter a late bid.
Bidding is only available in the app.
