Top Older Ohio-Breds To Dayton Oct. 16
Hollywood Dayton Raceway will host a quartet of $85,000 Ohio Sires Stakes championship races for older Standardbreds during the evening of Friday, October 16.
The races are for Ohio-sired pacers and trotters that are four years of age and older.
The championships are open to all Ohio-sired horses that have raced a minimum of five times in the state of Ohio in 2020. The fields will be limited to the top nine 2020 purse earners from starts within Ohio.
There was no nomination or sustaining payments, but there is a $500 starting fee.
The entry box for these $85,000 veteran Ohio Sires Stakes championships will close at Hollywood Dayton on Monday (Oct. 12) at 10 a.m.
Owners and trainers are urged to enter their good Ohio-sired horses via the USTA online entry method or call the Dayton race office at 937-235-7860.
