Fractional Ownership In A Pandemic
“These people behind scenes—you know, everybody sees Anthony MacDonald as the face. But there’s a lot of faces to thestable.ca, and without all those guys pitching in it just wouldn’t be possible.”
Before Tuesday's card of harness racing at the Delaware County Fairgrounds, Anthony MacDonald of TheStable.ca was interviewed for the Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association's Trackside Live pre-show. MacDonald discussed why he and his wife Amy started thestable.ca, what they do as an operation, how COVID-19 has affected them, and what their goals are for 2021.
“I can’t begin to imagine—I don’t know all of our clients, let alone know what their financial situation is,” MacDonald said in the interview. “We have 12 babies bought already, that are in our possession. That’s fine, that’s all done with. We still have Harrisburg, Lexington, a number of online sales… we wanted to get to maybe 20 Ohio-bred yearlings this year, so hopefully we can fenagle our way to 20 here.”
