Northfield Park has announced the dates of four fall late closing series. All of the newly added late closers are for non-winners of two pari-mutuel races (Ohio-breds non-winners of three) or $20,000 lifetime through Sept. 30.

The Gridiron Series for male pacers will be contested on five consecutive Sundays, from Oct. 18 to Nov. 15. Similarly, the Election Night Series for male trotters will be held on Tuesdays (Oct. 20-Nov. 17), the Autumn Leaves Series for female trotters on Wednesdays (Oct. 21-Nov. 18), and the Halloween Series for female pacers (Oct. 24-Nov. 21).

All four series will feature four $7,500 preliminary legs and guaranteed $18,000 finals.

Pre-nominations are not necessary. A one-time $300 payment will be required of each entrant prior to their first start in the series. Payments are not waived for scratches and entrants do not need to race in all legs of the series in order to maintain eligibility for their respective finals.
