Artrageous Rolls In Harrington Feature
Artrageous won the $13,500 featured conditioned pace for pacing mares on Tuesday (Sept. 15) at Harrington Raceway.
Driven by Art Stafford Jr. for his brother and trainer Andrew Stafford, Artrageous scored a 1:53.1 win over Shes Pukka N and Arts And Flowers. It was the 4th win of the year for Artrageous, all of which have come at Harrington’s half-mile racetrack.
Driver Montrell Teague had a grand slam while Art Stafford Jr. won three races to highlight the Tuesday Harrington Raceway program.
Teague scored wins with Lincolns Girl ($4.00), My Last Bet ($6.20), Silk Beach ($10.80) and Art Lecture ($9.00). Two of Teague’s victories were aboard Mike Hall-trainees. Stafford Jr. prevailed with Foolish Wisdom ($4.40), Artrageous ($3.80) and Heaven’s Legacy ($11.60).
Allan Davis (42 wins), currently leads the Harrington driver standings over Stafford (36) and Teague (28). Meanwhile, Joe Hundertpfund (20 victories) is atop the training standings with Jim King Jr. (15) and Chuck Crissman Jr. (12) completing the top three.
