The Horseplex of Indiana is pleased to announce the addition of three new stallions for the 2010 breeding season
. Moon Beam, Lawrence and All Muscle will each stand their first season in 2010, offering attractive pedigrees for breeders interested in Indiana’s lucrative slots-enriched program.
Moon Beam, p,3,1:51f, by Dragon Again-Sun N Moon-Artsplace, will begin his stallion career at Horseplex of Indiana after a successful racing stint that yielded multiple stakes victories and earnings of $772,486. As a two year old, Moon Beam won four of six starts with two runner-up finishes and earnings reaching $407,000. He scored victories in the Goshen Cup, Reynolds and Metro eliminations, and finished second to Somebeachsomewhere in the Metro final. As a three year old he collected wins in the Battle of Brandywine and Adios consolation and raced third in the Cane Pace. Moon Beam will stand for a fee of $3,000.
Lawrence, 1:53.1 ($174,549) by Lindy Lane-Keystone Lady Love-Super Bowl, is one of two trotting stallions to stand at Horseplex of Indiana in 2010. The fastest son of Lindy Lane to stand in North American, Lawrence offers the same pedigree as talented sire Like A Prayer. Between the ages of three and seven, he took records each year while racing on all size tracks. Lawrence will stand for a $1,500 fee.
All Muscle, a trotter from a proven harness racing family by North America's leading sire, will stand his first season at Horseplex of Indiana. An unraced son of the great Muscles Yankee, All Muscle is a full-brother to World Champion and two-time Breeders Crown champion Mr Muscleman, 1:51.1 ($3,582,823). Before injury, he was race timed in 1:59 as a two year old, trotting a :27.1 last quarter and finishing third to Crazed in a qualifier at Lexington. All Muscle will stand for a fee of $1,250.
