The Ontario Racing Commission has set up appeal hearings for Ontario racetracks pertaining to their 2010 race date schedules

The hearings will take place on the following dates:

December 10, 2009 at 9:00 a.m.
- Windsor Raceway Inc. Appeal of Director’s decision on 2010 race dates for Windsor Raceway

December 10, 2009 at 1:00 p.m.
- Western Fair Association Appeal of Director’s decision on 2010 race dates for Western Fair Raceway

December 16, 2009 at 9 a.m.
- Macranald Enterprises Inc. Appeal of Director’s decision on 2010 race dates for Sudbury Downs Raceway

December 16, 2009 at 1 p.m.
- Hanover Bentinck & Brant Agricultural Society Appeal of Director’s decision on 2010 race dates for Grand River Raceway

Hearings at the Ontario Racing Commission are public hearings and participants from the industry are welcome to attend.

Additionally, the Director received an application from Great Canadian Gaming Corporation to make a number of minor changes to their approved 2009 race date schedule for Flamboro Downs Raceway. The application for post time changes was reviewed and approved by the Director.
