Armbro Flight, Roses Are Red Finals Set
Not requiring eliminations, Woodbine Mohawk Park drew the finals for the $220,000 Armbro Flight and $290,000 Roses Are Red, which go on the undercard of Pepsi North America Cup night next Saturday (Aug. 29).
World-champion Atlanta makes her return to the distaff class following a try in the $291,350 John Cashman Memorial at the Meadowlands, where she finished fourth. The now five-year-old mare by Chapter Seven with $2.2 million earned will start from post 4 in an eight-horse affair in rein to regular pilot Yannick Gingras.
Svanstedt sends a pair with Plunge Blue Chip and Felicityshagwell S, the former entering off a win against Manchego in the $133,000 Joie De Vie at Tioga Downs. Local talents Hey Livvy and Only Take Cash will also compete as they make a return to Grand Circuit company.

Kissin In The Sand, pacing the quickest mile upon the end of the coronavirus shutdown on racing with a 1:47.4 score at the Meadowlands in June, will start from the outermost post. She competes wide of Stonebridge Soul, entering off a second-place effort to Shartin N in the $129,000 Artiscape Pace, as well as local Preferred star So Much More. World champion Warrawee Ubeaut will also make her return to Woodbine Mohawk Park, last putting forth a dominant performance to win the Breeders Crown Three-Year-Old Filly Pace last October.
