Guaranteed Wagers For Dan Patch Card
With both Thursday’s Pick-5 sequence and Hoosier High-5 wager going unsolved at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino, the wagering pools will be guaranteed at $15,000 and $30,000 respectively for Friday, August 14.
These guaranteed wagers will add to the already action-packed Dan Patch Stakes night on Friday, August 14, which will also feature a $25,000 Guaranteed Superfecta on the Dan Patch race. Harrah’s Hoosier Park will offer the guaranteed wagers in partnership with the United States Trotting Association Strategic Wagering program and the Indiana Standardbred Association.
A $15,000 Guaranteed Hoosier High-5 was already set to go for Friday’s 15th race, but Thursday’s $8,481.05 carryover bumped that guarantee to an impressive $30,000 guarantee. The $15,000 Guaranteed Pick-5, starting with $2,257.54 in carryover money, will kick off in the Dan Patch Race in Race 11. Race 11 will also feature a $25,000 Guaranteed Superfecta pool. Friday’s 15-race card will offer remarkable value to the horseplayer with full fields and competitive racing. Eleven of the 15 races feature 10 or more betting interests and the purses to be distributed throughout the evening will push the $500,000 mark.
Free past performances for Friday’s entire 15-race card will be available on Harrah’s Hoosier Park’s website, along with expert selections and other handicapping tools. Past performances for the Pick-5 sequence and the Hoosier High-5 wager will also be available on the United States Trotting Association website.
A field of 10 will be sent postward in the $225,000 Dan Patch Stakes. The 27th installment of Hoosier Park’s premier event will highlight the 15-race program that is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. As part of a special weekend tagged as “Dan Patch Festival Weekend”, Harrah’s Hoosier Park will showcase some of the most notable names in harness racing alongside specialty wagers, giveaways, food trucks and interactive family-friendly entertainment.
The 2020 live racing season at Harrah’s Hoosier Park will follow a Tuesday through Saturday schedule throughout the season. The season will be highlighted by the return of the Breeders Crown Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31. With a daily post time of 6:30 pm, live racing will be conducted through November 21.
