Diamond Creek Adds Sales Division
In the Bluegrass as the summer winds down and turns to fall, Diamond Creek’s Kentucky Farm is bustling with activity as more than 50 yearlings are being prepared for sale.
These horses are from the farm’s herd as well as several partners and clients. Diamond Creek Farm has evolved into an enterprise with several branches. Diamond Creek Stallions manages nine stallions in three states including roster headliners Father Patrick and Sweet Lou. Diamond Creek Farm is a homebred and commercial breeding operation, while Diamond Creek Racing currently owns wholly or in partnership 30 horses in training.
Growth continues with the addition of a new division, Diamond Creek Sales. Forged with a mission to meet client needs for public auction representation and private sales, Diamond Creek Sales will represent clients at public auction with their yearlings, horses of racing age, weanlings, broodmares, and stallion shares. The team will be active at three major sales this fall including The Ohio Jug Select Sale (September 18, 2020), Lexington Selected Yearling / Mixed Sale (October 6-10) and Standardbred Horse Sale in Timonium, Maryland (November 2-7).
The Diamond Creek team realized an opportunity to be of service to new and existing clients in the sales arena. “We consistently get calls about horses for sale and valuations, always help breeders with stallion bookings and general inquiries about their bloodstock,” said Shaun Laungani, Director of Bloodstock Services. Diamond Creek’s owner Adam Bowden added that “After years of continually being asked if we consign horses, we decided to focus on becoming a top consignor. We will strive to be' A Cut Above', with our customer service to clients and buyers.”
Diamond Creek will continue to sell and market their own horses. Now the doors will also be open to clients who can benefit from their brand and experience.
The 2020 Sale yearling sale roster can be viewed on the Diamond Creek website.
