Three-Day Concert At Churchill Downs

It has been reported that Kentucky's Churchill Downs will be playing host to a three-day concert in July, 2010 with some very big names expected to perform

.

The event has been dubbed the HullabaLOU music festival according to an article on courier-journal.com, and will run from July 23 through 25. Organizers are hoping on attracting crowds of 30,000 per day and an economic impact of $38 million.

The report indicates that Bon Jovi, Kenny Chesney and the Dave Matthews Band are expected to be performing.

A total of five stages will be erected in the infield and paddock. The report also states that morning training hours for horse will be suspended for several days.

“Our goal with the HullabaLOU music festival would be to make this music festival — to the music festival business — what the Kentucky Derby is to horse racing,” Churchill Downs Entertainment president Steve Sexton was quoted as saying.
