Seelster Farms has announced the 2010 service fee for pacing stallion Artistic Fella (p,2,1:53.3, 3,1:48.4, 1:48f -- $2,640,532) has been set

Seelster has announced that Artistic Fella's fee will be $5,000 and that multiple mare discounts will also apply.

The world champion son of Pacific Fella, which is out of the Artsplace mare Everythings Easy, is currently standing his first season in Australia at Empire Stallions. Artistic Fella is set to return to Ontario by February 1, 2010.

Artistic Fella's 1:48 mile in the $500,000 Ben Franklin over Chester Raceway in 2008 still stands as a World Record for an aged pacing horse over a five-eighths mile oval. The bay, aged five at the time, achieved the record feat after spending a large majority of the mile on the front end.

Trained by Steve Elliott, Artistic Fella made 52 pari-mutuel starts in his career and retired with a 26-10-4 slate, $2,640,532 in earnings and his 1:48 mark.
