The Manitoba Great Western Harness Racing Circuit, Inc., is seeking applications for the position of Race Secretary/Charter for the 2010 season of Manitoba

's rural-based summer meets.

The Race Secretary is responsible for developing a competitive race program covering 24 days including the qualifying races which are held two weeks prior to the start of the season. In addition, charting of the race card for each meet is a requirement.

Interested candidates for this position must be licensed by the Manitoba Horse Racing Commission and Standardbred Canada and be familiar with all aspects of the position and charting. For additional information contact MGWHRC President, Joyce Elder at 204-526-2005 or e-mail [email protected].
