Off the odds-on favourite, GP Dreamin secured the front early and held firm through the finish to take the co-featured event on the Tuesday (June 23) card at Woodbine Mohawk Park, a $17,000 fillies & mares conditioned trot.

Driver Jody Jamieson landed GP Dreamin on the front heading to a :27.4 first quarter with LMC Bumble Bee sitting in the pocket. The field maintained position through a :57.3 and by three-quarters in 1:26.3, where several horses began tipping off the pylons to rev for the stretch drive. However GP Dreamin remained strong on the lead while chased by LMC Bumble Bee, hitting the finish one-and-three-quarter lengths better in a 1:54.4 mile with Kombucha settling for third.

A three-year-old filly by Cornaro Dasolo, GP Dreamin won her third race from four starts, earning $32,403. Jared Bothwell trains the $3.60 winner for owner Carolyn Polillo.

Later in the card, Massive Flirt scored in the other $17,000 conditioned trot, doing so off a pocket ride in 1:59.

Savini took control and led the field by the quarter in :29.3 before yielding command to 7-5 favourite Sheer Energy, who brushed to the lead from fourth. Massive Flirt tracked that move to secure the pocket while Sheer Energy trotted to the half in :58.1 with a two-and-a-half length lead. Around the far turn that lead slimmed as Massive Flirt slowly reeled in the race favourite heading to three-quarters in 1:28.4. By the top of the stretch Massive Flirt took the lead and slid to a one-and-a-half length advantage heading to the finish, while Sheer Energy settled for second and Savini finished third.

A homebred for trainer Jeff Gillis with Mac Nichol, Massive Flirt won her third race from four starts, earning $52,933. Jody Jamieson also drove the $6.10 winner.
