Jensen Resigns From HRNZ
It has been announced that Peter Jensen, the chief executive of Harness Racing New Zealand, has resigned from his position with the organization.
Jensen has stated that the decision has been bittersweet, but it was necessary due to health reasons.
“I have underlying health issues and realize these have got to the point where I cannot give 100 per cent to HRNZ, at a time when it requires 150 per cent," Jensen was quoted as saying.
"I know the timing is far from ideal, but I also understand that I am not able to give the organization the energy and guidance that it requires at this time, hence my decision to retire and concentrate on my health.”
