Kentuckiana Lands Swan For All
Kentuckiana Farms is extremely excited to announce that Swan For All will stand the 2010 breeding season at Kentuckiana Farms of
Indiana, located at Victory Hill Farm of Lagrange, Indiana.
Kentuckiana Farms will serve as Syndicate Manager and, along with Victory Hill Farm, will manage his breeding career. Victory Hill Farm, a full-care equine facility, is owned and operated by veterinarians Jeff and Maria King.
“We are very excited about expanding our operations into Indiana. The new slots-rich program is expected to be very lucrative in the near future. We have had a long friendship with Jeff and Maria and they both have an excellent reputation for professionalism in serving their clients. They have a proven track record in standing successful stallions. We are confident that Swan For All is the right horse at the right time for breeders in Indiana,” says Bob Brady, owner and General Manager of Kentuckiana Farms.
Swan For All, a stunning $300,000 yearling son of super-sire Andover Hall, has a three-year-old mark of 1:54.1f and career earning approaching $200,000. Swan For All is currently racing and is selected as the 6 - 5 favorite in the upcoming $250,000 Matron Final at Dover Downs after an impressive 2 length win in his elimination.
Swan For All has won or placed in 9 of his 10 career starts with 7 wins and 2 seconds. Swan For All had and extremely impressive 2-year-old season with 4 wins and 1 second in 5 starts and established a 2-year-old mark of 1:54.3. In doing so, Swan For All won the elimination and final of the American National, the International Stallion Stake at Lexington and finished second in the Bluegrass, just behind Muscle Hill, to finish his season at 5-4-1. As a prep to his impressive 2-year-old run in Lexington, Swan For All was narrowly defeated by the great Muscle Hill, trotting his final quarter in an impressive :27.0 – the fastest last quarter in the race.
After suffering an injury at 2, Swan For All (b.c. 2006, Andover Hall - Swan Lake - Lindy Lane) has shown his desire and courage to come back to become a top-level stakes contender at three. Lightly raced at three, Swan For All was undefeated in his first 2 prep races this year and finished second in the Bluegrass, just behind an impressive Explosive Matter. Swan For All finished third, but placed 6th in the $600,000 Breeders Crown Final due to bad racing luck. Back in top form at Dover Downs last week, Swan For All won his elimination of the Matron to establish his career mark of 1:54.1f.
Swan For All hails from the 100 per cent producing mare Swan Lake -- she the dam of Magic Swan ($450,457), Swan Image ($439,792), Swanderful ($123,053) and Swan For All. The royal breeding of Swan For All continues into his second dam and includes the great Possess The Magic, 1:53.2 ($1,043,503). Swan For All’s third dam Allergro is the dam of Musical Victory (Breeders Crown Winner of over $500,000 and a producer) and top-producer Higher Love, dam of the great Lookout Victory ($1,921,611).
In addition to being one of the preeminent stakes winning families in harness racing, the maternal family of Swan For All is regarded as one of the top commercial families in the industry, having produced multiple $100,000 yearlings including most recently Swan For All’s yearling brother Swan In A Million (purchased for $137,000 by Erv Miller for his owners).
“Swan For All is a great individual that showed incredible two-year-old talent. As a result of an injury, he was unable to be in top form coming into his 3-year-old season. We have been extremely cautious in bringing him back. He is in excellent form presently and it is just unfortunate that he could not have been ready to race all year. I am confident that he will prove to be an excellent stallion,” says trainer Erv Miller.
The 2009 service fee for Swan For All will be $3,000.00. Syndication details will be available in the near future.
