Super Finals On The Score

Woodbine Racetrack will play host to the $2.4 million Ontario Sires Stakes Super Finals this Saturday night and fans across the country can catch all the action on The Score from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (ET).

It will be the final Race Night special of 2009 on The Score and viewers will witness eight championship finals, each offering a purse of $300,000.

Some of the sport’s biggest names got their start in the OSS program, including the triple millionaire quartet of Burning Point ($3,067,994), Peaceful Way ($3,245,055), Somebeachsomewhere ($3,328,755) and Boulder Creek ($3,815,924).

A new wave of stars will highlight this Saturday’s program, led by recent Breeders Crown winner Poof Shes Gone and one of racing’s newest millionaires, Elusive Desire.

The program will also include the dynamic duo of Western Silk and Higher And Higher squaring off in the juvenile filly pace, while stablemates Not Enough and Shacked Up headline the sophomore filly pace.

There will be superfecta wagering on nine of the 12 races Saturday night.

First-race post time is slated for 7:30 p.m. (ET).
