In conjunction with the final week of the 2009 live harness racing season, Pocono Downs will be presenting Fan Appreciation Week from November 17 to November 21.

Fans attending the races on Tuesday, November 17 will be receiving a free program for the live racing card. Also available for purchase that evening in the Winners Circle Eatery will be a hot dog and medium fountain drink for $2 from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

All race fans 18 years of age and older will be receiving a free $2 wager on Wednesday, November 18, with the $2 hot dog and medium soft drink special available in the Winners Circle that day, too.

On Friday, November 20, the first 1,000 fans will receive a free flashlight, a unit that never needs a battery, in addition to a food special of one slice of cheese pizza and a medium fountain soda in the Winners Circle for $2 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The final day of racing for the 2009 season takes place on Saturday, November 21, when the pizza and soda fountain special will be offered from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

All fans coming to the races on closing day will be receiving a free entry to win one of ten $200 betting vouchers. Drawings for the 10 winners will be conducted after the fifth race. Participants must be present to win.

This also will be the final time for the Tuesday and Wednesday night specials in the Pacers (clubhouse) when a $12.95 prime rib dinner and $9.95 all you can eat pasta specials will be available.

First-race post time is 6:30 p.m. for the Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday night cards with a 1:00 p.m. first-race post on Saturday.
