The 2009 edition of the TROT Canada National Handicapping Championship took place on Sunday night at Rideau Carleton Raceway in Ottawa.
Players from across the country competed in the national event for a $25,000 Grand Prize. Following handicapping action on four Canadian harness racing tracks, Roy Sproxton of Brampton, ON, who qualified at a TCNHC qualifier at Adrenaline at Hiawatha Horse Park in August, took home the winner’s cheque.
Standardbred Canada would like to extend their congratulations to all of the players who took part. A big thank you also to the management and staff of Rideau Carleton Raceway for being such great hosts and a thank you to all of the participating tracks and sponsors from across the country for their support of this national initiative.
A complete list of players and their final standings will be posted tomorrow.
