Equine Guelph Online Course Moved Up
Equine Guelph has announced that it has moved up the start date and extended access for both the youth (13-17) and adult offerings of its Online Horse Behaviour and Safety Course.
The courses are typically run over two weeks, but access has been extended from Monday, March 23 until May 11, 2020. For a low cost, students will be able to join in a highly interactive online learning community with group discussions amongst their peers, ‘Q&A’s with the course instructor and an expert guest speaker.
Registration is open now and will remain open from March 23 – May 1. For those already enrolled, for the course previously scheduled to begin April 6, you will be able to join in early.
Learn at an easy pace with the ability to log on to the course 24/7. Keep your horse-crazy kid from going stir-crazy with this fantastic learning opportunity. Adults will also find solace, especially if their barn time has been limited during this trying time of social distancing.
“The Horse Portal brings together our youth in a safe, online community where they will learn how to ‘speak horse’ – and, ultimately, stay safe around horses and on the farm,” said Equine Guelph Director Gayle Ecker. "From grassroots to adult industry professionals, we are so proud when our students tell us how our courses have helped them."
