Franco Tristan N started from the rail, took a two-hole trip through the fractions (:27.2, :57.3, 1:25.4), and got up to post a half-length victory in 1:54.1

The Jay Randall-driven Betterlatethnnever finished second off of a second-over trip, while the temposetter, Crockets Cullen N, finished third, a neck back from the victor.
