News From The Sadler Benefit
Trot Insider has spoken with organizers from the fundraiser for horseman Fred Sadler, 68, who has recently had part of a leg amputated

Seventeen drivers have each donated $100 to the fundraising efforts to purchase a Brodeur jog cart and race bike to auction off at the Sadler benefit, which is to take place at the Thursday, November 26 at the Parkhill Community Centre in Parkhill.
Organizers are hoping more drivers step forward in support of the worthy cause.
Also, Trot Insider has learned that horsemen Mark Herlihy, John Simeonidis and Harry 'Buck' Sloat, Jr. have stepped up as well. The trio currently has seven horses racing, which, beginning last week and running until the end of November, will be donating $100 to the cause for every win they record.
Proceeds from the benefit will go toward the purchase of a prosthetic leg for Sadler and a chair lift so he will be able to get from the main floor of his house to his basement.
