AGCO Info Meeting Monday At The WFD

Officials at The Raceway at Western Fair District along with officials at the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) have announced an upcoming meeting for horsepeople this coming Monday (March 2).

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the drivers' room.

The meeting is scheduled in light of recent changes regarding online services for Ontario’s horse racing licensees.

Starting on March 2, 2020, the AGCO will no longer be accepting paper forms, cash or cheques for horse racing-related licences and registrations.

All AGCO licence renewals and applications must be processed online, with payment by Visa, MasterCard, Interac Online, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit.

This change will affect all horsepeople including owners, agents, trainers, grooms, hotwalkers, jockeys, drivers, association officials, tradespersons and vets.

The iAGCO online portal provides an easy, convenient way for licensees to apply for, change and renew horse racing-related licences and registrations anytime from anywhere.

AGCO officials will be on-hand to assist with the transition to the online format regarding licensees.
