Ten two-year-old filly pacers were entered Tuesday morning for the OSS Gold Elimination scheduled to be contested on October 31 at Woodbine Racetrack

The OSS rules state that if there are not more horses entered in the elimination than can compete in the Final, the elimination will be cancelled and all horses will be considered declared directly into the Final to be held the following week.

Therefore, the Gold Elimination for two-year-old filly pacers scheduled for October 31 at Woodbine Racetrack is cancelled. The $40,000 purse for the Gold Elimination will be added to the regular purse for the Final, making a total Gold Final purse for this event of $170,000.

The Gold Final will be held on Saturday, November 7 as scheduled and the post positions will be available on Saturday, October 31, when the Final would normally have been drawn.

According to the new rule this year concerning the points for the Super Final, the 100 points from the cancelled elimination will be distributed equally between the ten horses that entered the event.
