There is currently a tight race atop Monticello Raceway’s driving leaderboard.

After Thursday (Jan. 30) action at the track, James Devaux leads with 22 wins, followed by Gregory Merton (21). Bruce Aldrich Jr. is tied in third place with 20 wins, as is the newest member of the 5,000-win club, Jim Taggart Jr.

Aldrich had the hot hand on Thursday, as he won four races on the 11-dash card, which handled over $574,000 in wagers.

Live racing at Monticello will resume on Monday, February 3. First post will be at 12:25 p.m.
