Ohio To Honour Mission Accepted
Ohio-bred Mission Accepted, who raced in two countries and at 11 different tracks last season, won five times on the way to being named the 2019 Ohio Aged Trotter of the Year.
Mission Accepted, who is a daughter of Manofmanymissions that is out of the S Js Photo mare Witty Girl, won three of her five Ohio races and earned $422,595 in purses for trainer Ron Burke, his stable and the ownership group of Knox Services, David B. Wills and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.
Mission Accepted tallied his biggest win of the year in the $ 250,000 Harry Harvey Invitational Trot at Yonkers Raceway.
Mission Accepted was bred by Knox Services in Mt. Vernon, Ohio.

“What a nice horse,” said driver Chris Page. “I’m truly blessed to sit behind him. He does everything right.” Page says it cool having an Ohio-bred that can venture out on the Grand Circuit races.
Mission Accepted will be honoured at the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association and United States Trotting Association’s District 1 Annual Awards Banquet January 18, 2020 at the University Area Marriott in Columbus, Ohio.
