Ohio Honour For Lane Of Stone
Eight consecutive wins during the summer put Lane Of Stone on the path to being named the Ohio’s 2019 Three-Year-Old Trotting Colt of the Year.
Lane Of Stone, a son of Wishing Stone out of the Lindy Lane mare Wisteria Lane, started his streak at the beginning of July, and it included his win at the Ohio Sires Stakes finals at Northfield Park in September.

Lane Of Stone, who earned $295,279 in purses in 2019, is owned by Harry Horowitz and trained by Mark Winters.
Horowitz and his late wife, Iris, were also bred Lane Of Stone.
Winters has said that Lane Of Stone is a very competitive horse. “I didn’t know he would be quite as sharp as he was,” Winters said. “As for as racing, he lets you do what you want to do rather than what he wants to do.”
Lane Of Stone will be honoured at the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association and United States Trotting Association’s District 1 Annual Awards Banquet January 18, 2020 at the University Area Marriott in Columbus, Ohio. Tickets to the banquet can be purchased by calling the OHHA office at 614-221-3650 or by heading to www.ohha.com.
