Enough Hanover Wins With Ease
Fans at Windsor Raceway were in a forgiving mood when it came to sending off Enough Hanover as the odds-on favourite in Sunday’s feature race
– the $10,000 Preferred-2 Pace.
Despite making a break and finishing up the track in his previous assignment in the Open class at Northville Downs, Enough Hanover got oodles of support and he didn’t disappoint in the border oval’s main event.
Brad Kramer hustled the six-year-old son of Dragon Again to the engine, and once he cleared to the top it was game over for everyone else. The gelding rolled through fractions of :27.2, :57.2 and 1:25.2 before turning on the afterburners for the final two furlongs of the eight furlong affair. His :28.1 closer proved to be the knockout punch en route to posting the 1:53.3 score over Real Samart and Blueprint.
Staci Malady of Rives Junction, MI owns and trains the lifetime winner of $143,504. It was his ninth win of the campaign and the 22nd of his career.
