Coming up this weekend will be two chances to qualify for the Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship. On Saturday October 24, players from British Columbia and Saskatchewan will get their chance

to earn a coveted spot in the TCNHC.

The Regina Teletheatre will be hosting a qualifier, contestants will be placing mythical wagers on standardbred and thoroughbred races, a $10 fee per entry will be charged. Please contact Trent Dunbar for more information (306) 529-1571.

Harness Racing BC will be hosting their qualifier at Fraser Downs the same night. Contestants will also be asked to place mythical wagers on several races, with the highest bankroll winning the spot in the TCNHC.

Winners from both contests will receive:

• Round trip airfare from their local airport to Ottawa, ON
• 2 nights accommodations at the Ottawa Marriott
• Brunch and Dinner at the Championship
• Coach Service from the Marriott to Rideau Carleton Raceway

These contestants will be vying for the title of top handicapper against players from across the country on November 8 at Rideau Carleton Raceway. The grand prize is a whopping $25,000!
