Making her North American debut, High Rolling A put the exclamation point on a fantastic Friday evening (Nov. 29) at Woodbine Mohawk Park for trainer Carmen Auciello and driver James MacDonald.

High Rolling A ($10) won the evening's 11-horse, added-distance race, pacing 1-3/8 miles in 2:38.4 for new owner Stephen Klunowski. Launching her attack from fifth approaching the three-quarters mark, the six-year-old Roll With Joe mare took the lead heading into the final turn and opened up a quick three lengths en route to victory. She held off a resurgent Miss Mady, who was on the point early and finished less than a length back.

The win completed a training triple for Auciello, who also watched pacing mare Better Be Donna N ($4.70) win the prior race and trotter Nothing But Muscle ($17.70) take the opener with Jonathan Drury aboard both for a driving double. The Stouffville, Ont. horseman currently ranks top three in Canada for the year with 184 training triumphs and career-best earnings of $3.3 million.

High Rolling A gave MacDonald his fourth win on the 10-race card. The hot-handed reinsman also won back-to-back races with sophomore pacing filly Just My Shadow ($5) for trainer Andrew Moore and three-year-old trotting gelding Westfiftysecond ($13.20) for Jason McGinnis before steering the Bill Budd-trained pacing mare Sunday Afternoon ($9.50) to another win.
