There are only 18 days left until the 2009 Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship which will feature a $25,000 grand prize, and SC is offering you a chance to win one of only a handful of spots left in the championship in SC’s online 'Pick The Punter' challenge

Here’s how it works. SC has selected some astute handicappers (aka, punters) from across the country, and they’ve been asked to handicap the winners of the eight Breeders Crown Championship races worth over $5.1 million. The races will be taking place Saturday, October 24 at Woodbine Racetrack.

You need to select the punter you feel will finish with the highest bankroll based on $2 across the board (win, place and show) wagers on the horses they select. Then you need to estimate what their winning bankroll will be.

The person that selects the winning punter and comes closest to guessing their bankroll will win a spot in the TCNHC on Sunday, November 8 at Rideau Carleton Racetrack.

The contest will open at 2:00 p.m. (ET) on Friday, October 23 when SC will announce the punters’ selections, and will close on Saturday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m. (ET).
