Progress Pace Set For Wednesday

Post positions have been drawn for this Wednesday’s (Nov. 27) $335,000 Hap Hansen Progress Pace for three-year-old colts and geldings at Dover Downs.

Captain Crunch (PP8, Yannick Gingras) has been installed as the 2-1 morning line favourite based upon his 1.47.3 track record performance in his last start. Breeders Crown champ Dancin Lou, who is the second early choice at odds of 3-1, has drawn Post 6.

American Mercury, who finished second in the final of the Matron Stakes and third in the Progress Pace elimination, has drawn Post 7 and has been installed as the third choice (9-2) on the morning line.

The program will also feature a pair of $100,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Finals.

The Progress Pace has been carded as Race 12 on the wagering program.

The card will kick off with a first-race post time of 4:30 p.m.
