COSA Benefits, RRSP Deadline Reminder
The Central Ontario Standardbred Association (COSA) would like to remind all Standardbred horsepeople in Ontario that medical, dental and life insurance benefits are available through the COSA office.
The benefit program is free to eligible full-time caretakers. There is also a subsidized benefit program for owners, trainers, drivers, blacksmiths, and tradespersons.
Any horseperson with a valid Standardbred Canada (SC) license, Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) license and Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) card can access benefits as a member of COSA.
COSA invites any horseperson who races at Ontario racetracks to become a member of our organization and participate in this substantive benefits program. COSA offers a free lifetime membership which includes liability insurance, members liability insurance, fire and transportation insurance and supplemental disability.
You may also go to the COSA website at www.cosaonline.com or call the office at 905-854-2672 if you have any questions regarding the benefits.
COSA would also like to remind all horsepeople that the RRSP deadline is December 1. Information regarding the RRSP program and forms are available on the COSA website (https://www.cosaonline.com/rrsp-information/) or you can contact Jennifer Rankin at OHHA (905-854-6442).
