Early ‘Big M’ Posts This Friday, Saturday

There will be plenty going on at the Meadowlands Racetrack both this weekend and next. Live racing with competitive, big fields will be on tap, as will an abundance of high-powered stakes events that will be simulcast to the mile oval.

To ensure that racing fans can get in on all the action, post time at the Meadowlands will be 10 minutes earlier than usual on Friday (Oct. 25) and Saturday (Oct. 26) at 7:05 p.m.

When it comes to on-track action this weekend, the sixth and final leg of the Kindergarten Classic for two-year-olds (both on the pace and trot) will be contested on Friday night, while the Saturday program features an ultra-competitive card with the large fields that Meadowlands' fans love – bettors will have the opportunity to wager on one eight-horse field, two with nine horses and 10 with full 10-horse fields.

Simulcast fans know that when the stakes are high, the ‘Big M’ is the place to catch the races. This weekend, Woodbine Mohawk Park will host all 12 championship events of the Breeders Crown.

During the 48-hour span at Canada’s top venue, all horses who are in the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown Top 10 Poll – with one exception (Lather Up, who has been retired) – will be in action. Shartin N, Greenshoe, Bettors Wish, Warrawee Ubeaut, Real Cool Sam, Southwind Ozzi, McWicked, Atlanta and Manchego are all scheduled to compete.

The Breeders Crown takes place Friday and Saturday. Post time at Mohawk will be at 7 p.m.
