St. Louis Snags Five Again
For the second-straight Sunday, driver Marc St. Louis Jr. visited the winner’s circle on five occasions during the 10-race program at Leamington Raceway on Sunday, Oct. 6.
Among St Louis’ five victories, Insincerity ($8.40) wired her competition in the $5,800 Preferred 4 Pace. The 10-year-old Rambaran filly, owned and trained by William Hamm, set a clip of :28, :59 and 1:29 in progress to a 1:58.4 win by one-and-a-half lengths over pocket-sitter Brother Aidan. Leafs And Wings, sent the 6-5 favourite, made a first over move past the half but stalled and faded to third.
St. Louis opened the card with a near-wire-to-wire victory behind E R Rhonda ($2.70), who won a conditioned claiming pace by four-and-a-three-quarter lengths in 1:59.3. Two races later, St. Louis steered Cantcountmeout ($14.50) to a coast-to-coast 1:59 mile. He then piloted Njs Trick Pistol ($4.20) off a pocket ride to a 1:59.4 victory by three-and-three-quarter lengths a few races later and collected his final win of the day in the penultimate race when going wire to wire with Harttattack ($4.40) in 2:00.1.

Many thanks to the SC editor
Many thanks to the SC editor for taking the time to keep updating us on the success of Canada's leading dash driver this year.
Hoping he can hold on and win Canada's 2019 driving title but might not happen due to his limited number of drives and a late season charge from last year's champ, Louis Philippe Roy.
