The five-year-old Mattarocket mare had no trouble finding the pocket from post 2, drafting behind OK Jasmine (Stephane Pouliot) through comfortable splits of :28.4, :58.2 and 1:26 before being boxed by Stargazing Cruiser (Rodney LaFramboise) on the final turn. When the open stretch availed, Stephane Brosseau guided Reys N A Rocket inside, and the pair accelerated to collar OK Jasmine by a neck in 1:54.1. Stargazing Cruiser stayed on to finish third.

Robert Bernicky owns and trains Reys N A Rocket, now a 23-time winner.

Rodney LaFramboise and Richard Simard led all drivers with three wins apiece on the 10-race card.
