Bryner Joins Nevada Board
The Nevada Standardbred Association Inc. has announced that it has recently added Andy Bryner to its board of directors.
Bryner is the former vice president and board member of the Indiana Standardbred Association. He has served on various committees, including the Contract Committee and Backside Committee, where he has worked closely with management, judges, trainers and drivers to solve problems and manage issues. Bryner is very strong at promoting the benefits of driver/trainer pay structures. He adds value to the NVSA Board as it continues to build out the mission of the organization.
The addition of Bryner brings the number of board members to five. Board members of the NVSA have fiduciary responsibilities, are responsible for advancing the mission of the organization, organizational planning, governance, board development, and fundraising.
The NVSA is a Nevada not-for-profit corporation that promotes and supports harness racing as well as Standardbred breeding and development programs in the state. The NVSA assists racetrack start-ups and represents members in negotiations. The NVSA recommends rule changes and regulations and cooperates with other Standardbred Associations. The NVSA also consults with higher education to increase equine care, training, awareness within the state.
