Reminder: Fredericton Racing Sunday

Officials with the New Brunswick Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their time and effort in regard to the upcoming card of harness racing at Fredericton Raceway, which is scheduled for this coming Sunday (Sept. 8). If you plan on entering your horse to race, you’d better do so quickly.

The NBSBOA would like to specifically thank Harness Racing New Brunswick, FREX, the Fredericton Horsemen's Association, and a chapter of NBSBOA.

In its release to Trot Insider, NBSBOA reps stated that, “needed most now is for our friends in racing to enter their horses.”

Post time for the card has been set for 1:30 p.m. and pari-mutuel wagering will be available. The feature for the ten-dash program will be the $3,500 Jennie & Joe Chippin Memorial Pace.

The entry box is set to close at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 4). To view the condition sheet, click here.

All New Brunswick horsepeople that train or drive are reminded that they must have their NBSBOA membership in good standing in order to race. The release also states that “outside jurisdictions members, as always, are honoured.”
