Atlantic Glamour Boys To Inverness
Two Atlantic Sires Stakes divisions for three-year-old colts will be one of the highlights for the Sunday (Sept. 1) card at Inverness Raceway.
The first 'A' division (race seven), racing for a purse of $10,260, will see Notorious leave from post seven for driver Marc Campbell. Purple Poet (Kenny Arsenault) and Dusty Lane Cortez (Adam Merner) are among the other program favourites. The second 'A' division will line up in race nine, with Red Dirt Boomer (Gilles Barrieau), Red Dirt Rocknroll (David Dowling) and Dont Be A Hero (Todd Trites) listed as the top three.
The $11,257 Nova Scotia Stake for three-year-old fillies is slated for race five.
Three-year-old colts have two Atlantic Sires Stakes events remaining to seek points to secure their entry into the Atlantic Breeders Crown finals, which will take place on Oct. 13 at Red Shores Charlottetown.
